I really wanted to do tribute art
It's all thats been on my mind *and the radio*
My majour weakness for the 9/11 is the brave people.
The firemen. People on the plane. And the people at the top.
the thought of calling your loved ones and saying your goodbyes is horrible. Knowing you're going to die and choosing the inevitable.
my nephew watched a tribute video of the attack and laughed at a person jumping out of the tower. I told him he just watched someone die. Don't laugh.
Back when i first heard of the attack i was too young to understand as well.
in primary school our class was disrupted by our teacher who brought in a TV showing what had happened. I thought it was some action show or something along those lines.
It only became real when i heard about all the deaths.
I think that the reason it impacts me more than other disasters is because it was deliberate.
But thats my thought XD
Artwise I know i suck at scenery. But at least i put the effort in XD

This is such a beautiful tribute... It brought tears to my eyes when I saw it. I didn't understand it either when I was little. I remember reading a very touching poem about it, and just knowing that I felt a strong connection to whoever had written it, without knowing what it was really about. Today I started watching videos of the song called "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning". That song really touches me also. Once again very good job on this piece and I only hope that I can create a tribute that is as poignant as this one :aww:

Wow what an inspirational picture! Its almost like the spirits of the fallen hero's are coming back to ground Zero, maybe reliving the past? Or to be with their families who are remembering them?
9/11 was an awful day and i hope it is never repeated anywhere!

It was a horrible disaster D:

I never thought about the firemen, but last year I watched a movie about the disasters what was about the firemen...it totally toched me, because I'm a firewoman, too. Since that I think my job is just more important as I thought before ^^
